Whispers in the dark

POEM;
Whispers in the dark

Moving in the oceans of girdling lies
Going over pending files
He looked into the overwhelmed souls
Sitting directly in the opposite rows.

Knowing deep down in his majestic self
(As he scanned through shadowed shelves,
He traced the spines of thoughts at bay)
That these words would unravel at noonday.

He longs for tides to turn just right,
For dawn to ride without a fight.
He wanted everything just perfect,
Not wanting to be laughed at.

He kept this for so long,
And didn’t think it will unravel itself for once
And there it was,a secret he kept for years
A secret that caused so much fear.

It was no longer hidden,
He was the one behind the mystery of cousin’s death
It was so glaring due to some observations.
He killed her,Yes he did, with no remorseful actions.
