Here's to EROS - Passion and Infatuation

HARMFUL LOVE
She is the dreamy dove
that seeks solace
in the lion's mane
that abhors the advances
of the Robin
She is the butterfly
that incessantly flirts
with the ardour of the fire
She is the cool, the gentle
like the evening breeze
She is the naive,
Like a toddler that toys
With the broken edges.
of a glitering glass
The lion's mane
Exudes comfort
His walks, confidence
He is the Lion
Paragon of class
Epitome of Ego
Idol of respect
Romantic but...
unless the lion
agrees to lose
Its crave for flesh
Another Juliet will lose
Her pride for unconcerned Romeo.
What to expect when a Child
Sees no distinction
between the Dolphin and the shark
But perhaps,
Jack could lay down
His vicious teeth,
For the titanic love of Rose,
Perhaps, the Lion's mane,
Can be an abode
For the nest of a dove
Perhaps, Joseph's dreams
Will actualize and Perhaps
Snakes will fly!
